Matt Seifert is one of the more well-rounded fisherman I have met. He has an uncanny ability to put together patterns out on the water. He always does his homework before he hits the water and has a game plan for whatever curveball his electronics or the weather may throw at him. Crappies, eyes or muskies, it doesnt matter. When I go home and fish out of my own boat, 90% of the time, I'm fishing his patterns.

I have had the pleasure of fishing with Matt on numerous occasions this past season. Three things really stand out during from each trip. First, Matt is a really great guy to fish with. Each trip I was impressed by Matt's knowledge of the water and by his positive "can do" attitude. He made every trip fun! Second, Matt handles his boat with excellent control. Though it sounds small, you just don't see guys out there that really understand how to position and hold their boat for accurate presentations. In this way, Matt is top notch! Third, there is a reason they nicknamed him "the 50inch kid." I have not fished a trip with Matt when we haven't put a 50" class fish in the boat! Catching fish of that size is never guaranteed; but for me, Matt is the closest thing to a 50" insurance policy I have.
